Okra is a vegetable that is probably one of our favorites at home. Okra in any form is very tasty. This North Indian style dry curry goes well with roti, rice/ lentils.
You will need:
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 shallot chopped
1 small tomato chopped
2 cups of okra chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
salt per taste
Method:
Heat up oil in a skillet. Add cumin seeds, let it splatter. Add shallots, once that turns translucent add the tomatoes. Add the spices and let it coat the veggies. Then mix in the cut okra and salt.
Cover it with a lid for about 5 minutes on medium flame. And there you go!
